Approx. 100M from the start of the Coolehane Road is Creedon's Mill. This is the only mill in Ireland where oats are stone ground to make a meal. (Macroom Oat Meal) is very popular and nutrious - it can be eaten with either hot or cold milk.
Half-way between Creedon's Mill and Bealick Mill is O'Leary Precast who supply concrete products to the building industry.
