The museum besides having many items of local historical value, has one of the finest collections of the West Cork hooded cloak. The rectory is part of the now closed Protestant Church. McGregors furniture store occupies the site of the old Bridewell, used for centuries by the British. The lane between McGregors & the Bank of Ireland (Bridewell Lane) is at the top of the hill where the town square begins. |
