Discovering new tastes:
Much enjoyment when visiting a country for the first time can be experimenting with new foods and drink that you would not find at home. While some can be unusual and exotic, many can become favorites that may be enjoyed for years to come. As such, traditional Irish foods do not impact on the taste buds like Mexican chilli peppers or Indian curry, but are more of an "almost like at home" taste. Below is a list of some food and drink to look for, we have not added descriptions as that would spoil the fun of discovering them for yourself. The more exotic are marked with a *.
