From The Lee Valley:
Route: N22 East from Macroom to Cork City (25 miles / 40Km). Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen], (6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km). Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 1 hour.

From North Cork:
Route: From Millstreet take R582 to Macroom then N22 East from Macroom to Cork City (25 miles / 40Km) or from the rest of North Cork, take best route to N20 and then on to Cork City...... Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen], (6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km). Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 1 to 1.5 hours.

From Cork City:
Route: From Cork City, follow signs for Dublin/Waterford, until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen], (6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km). Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 30 minutes.

From South Cork:
Route: From Skibbereen take N71 to Cork City (53 miles / 85Km) or from the rest of South Cork, take best route to N71 or N22 and then on to Cork City...... Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen], (6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km). Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km)
Travel time approx. 1.5 to 2 hours.

From East Cork:
Route: From Youghal take N25 to Cobh junction (25 miles / 40Km). Turn Left on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 45 minutes.

From Killarney take N22 to Cork City (55 miles / 88Km) Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen],(6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km).Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 1.5 hours.

From South Kerry:
Route: From Killarney take N22 to Cork City (55 miles / 88Km) Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen],(6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km).Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 1.5 hours.

From North Kerry:
Route: N21 / N22 East to Cork City (75 miles / 120Km) Continue through Cork City to far side, [follow signs for Dublin/Waterford] until you come to a major junction, N8-Dublin & N25 Waterford.[ A flyover under construction can be seen], (6 miles / 10Km). Continue East on N25 to Cobh junction (3 miles / 5Km). Turn Right on to R624 to Cobh (6 miles / 10Km) Travel time approx. 2 to 2.5 hours.

From the Lee Valley:
Route: As in the above trip go through Cork City to the N8 / N25 junction. (31 miles / 50Km). This time turn Left and continue on the the N8 to Cashel (56 miles / 90Km) Travel time approx. 2 hours.

From North Cork:
Route: Take best route to N72 and follow this road to Fermoy where it joins the N8. Turn Left and continue on the the N8 to Cashel (40 miles / 64Km) Travel time approx. 1 to 2 hours.

From Cork City:
Route: Take main Cork / Dublin road, N8 to Cashel (60 miles / 95Km) Travel time approx. 1.5 hours.

From South Cork:
Route: Take best route to N71 or N22 and follow this road to Cork City. Follow road signs through city for Dublin (N8). Continue on the the N8 to Cashel (62 miles / 100Km) Travel time approx. 2 to 2.5 hours.

From East Cork:
Route: Take N25 to Cork City. (30 miles / 48Km). Follow road signs through city for Dublin (N8). Continue on the the N8 to Cashel (62 miles / 100Km) Travel time approx. 2 hours.

From South Kerry:
Route: Take N22 to Cork City. (55 miles / 88Km). Follow road signs through city for Dublin (N8). Continue on the the N8 to Cashel (62 miles / 100Km) Travel time approx. 2 to 2.5 hours.

From North Kerry:
Route: N21 / N22 to Killarney (20miles 32Km). N72 to Fermoy where it joins the N8 (60 miles / 96Km) Turn Left and continue on the the N8 to Cashel (40 miles / 64Km) Travel time approx. 2.5 to 3 hours.
