It has been tastefully restored and transformed into a modern comfortable home while still retaining many of its original features, i.e. exposed stone walls, wooden flooring and timber panelled ceiling. It has been fitted with all modern conveniences.     Accommodation includes 2 en-suite bedrooms which sleep up to 5 people, plus a cot. A futon bed in the living area can cater for the larger family. There is a large kitchen/living area with a modern fully-fitted kitchen that contains a cooker, microwave and fridge. A welcome pack is provided on arrival. The living area has a colour T.V., with R.T.E. and B.B.C. channels. Gold Shield electrical heating is available in all rooms. A balcony complements the accommodation and is ideal for relaxing on a sunny afternoon. Downstairs there is a laundry room with washing machine and tumble-dryer, iron and ironing board, which is shared with the downstairs occupants.   Anchor Lodge is a large family house recently built in the picturesque fishing village of Schull in west Cork on the Mizen head peninsula. It has 4 bedrooms (all en-suite), a large kitchen with separate dining room. The lounge is spacious and has sky television facility. All mod cons are located in the kitchen and utility room- d/washer, w/machine & drier, microwave oven, etc. There is an additional downstairs toilet with cloakroom and a separate bathroom on the first floor. The house is located in a quiet road within 5 minutes walking distance of shops, restaurants, pubs and the pier and sea front are in easy reach.
