is famous for its game and coarse fishing. For the sportsman Mount
Leinster is known as one of the best sites in Europe for hang-gliding.
Borris, under the Blackstairs Mountains has a range of sporting
activities for all, and also offers handicrafts like lace.
Tullow is also an ideal touring area for golf and fishing and the
"Ring of the Rath" an ancient ring fort; it lies on the absolutely
beautiful River Slaney and the visitor is given a warm greeting
here and to all parts of the sunny south-east within easy driving
distance.
Carlow is the principal market town in the Barrow valley and is
